There were reports that the proposed tableau of Assam highlighting the arrival of the great Ahom king Chaolung Suikapha in Assam in the 13th century was rejected because of its alleged distorted presentation.
The enquiry would be conducted by Commissioner of Excise S Thakur who would submit the report within 3 weeks from the date of institution of the probe, the release said.
