Persons eligible to vote and who have not registered their names in the voters list, should come forward to enroll themselves before April 15, a top State election official said here today.
"Come forward to enroll in the electoral list before April 15," Chief Electoral Officer, Tamil Nadu, Rajesh Lakhoni said.
Addressing a workshop on Assembly polls, he said eligible persons could enroll through options including online registartion.
Also, an Android mobile app TNelections could also be used to register in the voters' list, he added.
Election Commission has been making various efforts to encourage all electors to vote, he said adding,"our target is 100 per cent votes, 100 per cent honesty."
Photo identity cards may be secured from offices of revenue authorities like offices of the district collector and RDO.
He had also announced recently that for reporting violations of model code of conduct and to clear doubts related to elections, general public may dial 1950.
Through the mobile number 9444123456, complaints may be sent via WhatsApp with photo or video evidence.
