Chairerd by the DGP, a meeting was conducted at Police Control room (PCR) here this evening to review the security arrangements of Jammu Police in general and for smooth conduct of Amarnath Yatra in particular.
"Public interest and welfare should be kept high on mind while performing security and law and order duties and it should be ensured that no laxity of any kind is shown at any level", Khoda said.
The DGP emphasised on the field Officers to have well- coordinated and synergized security and deployment grid and security arrangements to maintain law and order and also for the smooth conduct of the Yatra.
All field Officers and formations associated with the conduct of the Yatra and security matters briefed the DGP about the prevailing scenario and preparedness for the event. (More)
