Rajasthan Industry Minister Rajendra Pareek today reviewed implementation of the state government's flagship schemes and programmes and directed officials to make required amendments in ensuring benefits to maximum number of people.
Directing officials to simplify process for distribution of pension schemes so that maximum eligible people can be made beneficiaries, the minister said in the meeting, "The government intends to benefit maximum people, so the process should be simplified."
Dr Samit Sharma, MD of Rajasthan Medical Services Corporation, who was instrumental in the launch of free medicines scheme, raised the issue of a section of government doctors prescribing medicines, not available in hospitals.
Officials from various departments including medical and health, social justice and empowerment and urban development attended the meeting.
