Ensure quality construction of DDA flats: L-G

Lt Governor Najeeb Jung has directed the Delhi Development Authority officials to pay special attention on the quality of DDA flats so that there are no complaints from consumer.

Jung also emphasized the need for streamlining the system of conversion of property from leasehold to freehold so that there is no inconvenience to the general public and there are no delays, a DDA official said in a press release.

"He advised that timelines for disposal of each department be fixed and monitored so that there are no slippage of time and there is no intentional delays or coordination problems in conversion cases," the release said.
 

Further DDA informed that the allotment of 60 flats out of the vacant available flats at CWG Village to Delhi Government was also approved and modalities for operationalizing enhanced FAR as contained in MPD-2021, were also approved.

DDA has also approved the change of land use, from recreational to utility, at Dhaula Kuan for construction of relay station for Mukandpur-Yamuna Vihar Corridor Line-7 of DMRC, the statement added.
