Central Reserve Police Force personnel will be offered courses in entrepreneurship to enable them set up their own enterprises post retirement, Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy said today.
"CRPF has requested that its jawans who are about to retire be imparted courses in entrepreneurship so that they can set up their own businesses post retirement," Rudy said in the presence of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh here.
Rudy said an MoU in this regard will be signed soon to operationalise the arrangement.

After campaigns like Start-up and Stand-up India, the next campaign would be Scale-up India as there is no other alternative, the Home Minister said.
He said the number of people having formal training in India, which currently stands at a meagre 2.5 per cent, will rise in the coming years due to the government's efforts.
