The chairman of a Supreme Court- mandated pollution control body visited several construction sites here today and flagged violation of norms.
Bhure Lal, the chairman of the Environment Pollution (Prevention and Control) Authority or the EPCA, directed the authorities to brief realtors about environment guidelines next week, and initiate action if any violation is found thereafter.
He said construction waste was lying along roads, leading to air pollution.
