Erdogan aide in custody after attempted coup: state-run media

A military aide of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was taken into custody today after Friday's attempted coup, state-run news agency Anadolu reported.

Ali Yazici is accused of involvement in the coup plot and was in Ankara during the putsch, CNN-Turk said. He had only begun working for the president in August last year, according to Anadolu.
