Escorts Construction Equipment (ECE), construction and material handling arm of Escorts, has launched a pick-n-carry crane and a 12-tonne soil compactor.
The pick-up, CT Smart 15 crane, and the soil compactor, Compactor 3212, were rolled out at the 9th edition of the construction equipment and technology conference and exhibition Excon here.
The company is aiming for double-digit turnover by 2021 with exports based on indigenous research and development.

"We are targeting double-digit growth in next few years. Escorts currently enjoys over 40 per cent market share in pick-n-carry crane segment. Within compaction equipment segment, target is to increase market share to 50 per cent," ECE chief executive Ajay Mandahr said.
The newly-launched crane comes equipped with anti- toppling and anti-lifting features that provides enhanced safety on the sites, he said.
Developed with indigenous R&D, the new crane provides auto de-rated load chart in articulation along with many other standard features.
The company currently has presence across the Saarc, Southeast Asian, Middle East, Latin America and African markets.
"Exports will be a key driver for our overall growth strategy. We are also exploring other opportunities in complimentary product segment to further expand our portfolio," Mandahr said.
