Specialty packaging company Essel Propack has inaugurated a new plant in Cali, Colombia.
The new facility has a capacity to manufacture 180 million tubes per year and make new generation laminated tubes targeting the high value beauty & cosmetics category along with a Pharma clean room, Essel Propack said in a statement.
Located in special economic zone, the facility will cater to the adjacent Andean markets of Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Venezuela, Chile besides serving the local demand, it added.

Claridges Hotel Group appoints Asghar Ali as Group President * The Claridges Hotel Group has appointed Asghar Ali as its Group President.
"Ali will leverage and enhance the ongoing and future work of the company," Claridges Hotel Group said in a statement.
He has over three decades of top management experience in major industrial sectors, it added.
Ali has previously worked as President External Affairs at Punj Lloyd Group. He has also worked in Ashok Leyland, Eicher International and Thapar Group, the company said.

Samruddhi Realty plans to raise Rs 75 cr * Samruddhi Realty plans to raise Rs 75 crore through issue of non-convertible debentures on private placement basis.
In a filing to the BSE, the company informed that the board of directors at a meeting held today has approved the proposal for issue Non Convertible Debentures (NCDs) on private placement basis aggregating to Rs 75 crore in different tranches.
This issue is pursuant to the resolution passed by the shareholders in the Extra Ordinary General Meeting held on May 26, 2016, Bengaluru-based developer said.
