Dry weather conditions prevailed in Uttar Pradesh today, with Etawah recording the highest maximum temperature of 42.8 degrees Celsius in the state.
According to MeT office, day temperatures changed slightly in the state.
The temperature was appreciably above normal in Faizabad division, above normal in Gorakhpur, Varanasi and Allahabad divisions and normal in the remaining divisions over the state, it said.
As per the MeT forecast, weather is likely to remain dry over the state.
