A delegation comprising of Ethiopian Minister of State of Industries, T H Tessema visited the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-National Metallurgical Laboratory (CSIR-NML) here.
Tessema accompanied by W.D Shumete, Director General of their Metal Industry Development Institute and three of the directors - D.A Woldemicharl, M.D Asires and E.A Mihretu - of the same institute visited CSIR-NML yesterday, a CSIR-NML press release said today.
The delegation was keen to have a twinning programme with CSIR - NML in the area of Metals and Industries, the release said adding the delegation visited various CSIR laboratories for the purpose.
The scope of such twinning would include assistance in facilities planning and human resource training, identification of thrust areas for industrial development, strategy development for industries among others.
The delegation visited various facilities and pilot plants of CSIR-NML and had technical discussion with NML director and scientists.
