A private TV news channel will telecast a special half-an-hour magazine show on Kashmir from Monday, an official of the channel group said today.
"We are launching a weekly half-hour programme dedicated to Jammu and Kashmir, titled 'Kashmir Express' which will be telecast every Monday from 8 PM to 8.30 PM," said Rajesh Raina, group editor of the Hyderabad-based ETV network.
He said the first episode of 'Kashmir Express' will go on air on ETV Urdu from June 17.

"This programme would focus on off-beat stories, success stories and glorious cultural heritage of Kashmir," he added.
Raina said the programme was conceived following the success of daily news bulletin on the developments in the state, which started in 2006.
"This bulletin has now become the voice of the people in the entire state. The popularity of the daily news bulleting has led to growing public demand to have more slots on ETV Urdu dedicated to J&K," Raina said.
