In an exercise aimed at enhancing mutual understanding between European Union and India, a delegation of Diplomats representing various member countries of EU would pay a three day visit to Chennai and Puducherry from December eight.
The visit by the team led by EU Ambassador to India Dr Joao Cravinho is part of a series of outreach visits to different States and Union Territories in India, an official release said here.
During the visit, the delegation would interact with the leadership of State and Union Territory, leaders of political parties and meet various industrialists, it said.

European Union Member States, Czech Republic Ambassador Miloslav Stasek, Portugal Ambassador Jorge Roza de Oliveira, Estonia Ambassador Vijar Lubi, Slovak Republic Ambassador Zigmund Bertok, Bulgaria Ambassador Petko Doykov, Poland Ambassador Tomasz Lukaszuk, Luxembourg Ambassador Sam Schreiner, Latvia Ambassador Aivars Groza are part of the delegation.
During their visit to Chennai, the delegation would call on Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah, Chief Minister O Panneersevlam and Assembly Speaker P Dhanapal.
The Ambassadors would also participate in a conference organised by trade body CII, the release said.
