EU Foreign Affairs chief Federica Mogherini will visit India this month to hold talks with the Indian leadership on a range of regional and global issues including climate change.

High Representative/Vice-President (HRVP) Mogherini will hold consultations with External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on April 21, her office in Brussels said in a statement.

Mogherini and Swaraj will discuss preparations for the 14th EU-India Summit to be held later this year in New Delhi.

"Bilateral, regional and global issues are also on the agenda," the statement said.

Mogherini will also hold talks with the National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and with other members of the Indian government, it said.

She will also travel to China and Russia besides India during her week-long schedule from April 18 to 24, her office said.
