Former Bond girl Eva Green is reportedly in talks to star in director Tim Burton's 'Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children'.
The film, set for a release on July 31, next year, is based on Ransom Riggs' YA novel. The story is about a teenage boy who is transported to an island where he must help protect a group of orphans with special powers from creatures out to destroy them, said the Hollywood Reporter.
The script was adapted by Jane Goldman.
Green, 34, is reuniting with Burton after 'Dark Shadows' to play the headmistress of the orphanage.
The actress will be next seen in 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For'.
