Eva Green joins the cast of 'The Salvation'

Bondgirl Eva Green has joined the cat of 'The Salvation' which is being directed by Danish filmmaker Kristian Levring.

The film, currently shooting in South Africa, has also boarded Michael Raymond-James of 'Jack Reacher' fame and Jeffrey Morgan. Other stars include Mads Mikkelsen and Mikael Persbrandt of "In a Better World."

Green is currently starring in sequels 'Sin City 2' and '300: Rise of an Empire'. 'Salvation' reunites her with Danish star Mads Mikkelsen following their work together on the James Bond feature 'Casino Royale' (2006), reported Ace Showbiz.

The story focuses on John (Mikkelsen), a settler whose family is brutally murdered. John kills the killer, drawing the wrath of local gang leader Delarue and the peaceful farmer is forced to fight the outlaws to save his town.
