Furious over an alleged eve-teasing incident, members of a community created ruckus inside an intermediate college here and misbehaved with the staff, a senior police officer said today.
An 11th class student of Sanjay Gandhi Inter-College allegedly teased a girl of another community in Mujhaina Jaagir yesterday, said Additional Superintendent of Police Brijesh Srivastava.
He said on getting the information, family members of the girl assaulted the student.

Demanding arrest of the student, a large number of protesters created ruckus inside the college located in Nawabganj area and "misbehaved" with the teachers, the ASP said.
He said the student was arrested on the complaint of the girl's father, adding this pacified the protesters.
The ASP said the college principal had also lodged a complaint of vandalism with police.
Adequate police had been deployed in the troubled-torn area as a precautionary measure, he said.
