Jharkhand Governor Droupadi Murmu today said everyone should make efforts in protection and conservation of environment.
Planting various plants on World Environment Day, the governor called upon the people for maximum plantation and make others aware of it and inspire them so that the future of next generation would be secured and happy, according to an official release.
She also called upon people to plant fruit-bearing plants at their homes.
The governor also called upon people to plant trees on their birth anniversaries and other special occasions.
On the occasion, the governor planted various plants at Raj Bhavan.
