Former Andhra Pradesh home minister Vasantha Nageswara Rao's son Vasantha Krishna Prasad was arrested here today in connection with murder of a school teacher in 2013.
The arrest came following the order of a local court on the complaint of wife of the deceased Podili Ravi (34) who was killed on June 12, 2013.
Police said Prasad and Ravi are related to each other and they are investigating the motive behind the alleged murder.
Meanwhile, Prasad was produced before a magistrate court which sent him to judicial remand.
