Ex-Bihar minister begins argument in Fodder Case

Former Bihar minister Vidya Sagar Nishad, one of the accused in a Fodder Scam case, today presented his arguments in a special CBI court.

His counsel put up the defence in the court of Pravas Kumar Singh and will continue tomorrow as well.

Nishad, who was former labour minister in the erstwhile RJD regime, is one of the 45 accused in the Fodder Scam case of RC 20A/96 pertaining to alleged fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 37.7 crore from Chaibasa Treasury in the 1990s.
