Former Maharashtra football player Keith Swaine passed away after a brief illness at a hospital in Vadodara yesterday.
Swaine, who also played for the Western Railway and the Mafatlal Sports Club, was 66.
He is survived by his wife Donita and daughter Tracy, according to information received here today.

He also represented Maharashtra (WIFA) in the National Football Championship for the Santosh Trophy and served both the state team and his club with distinction for many years.
After hanging up his boots, he continued to work at Mafatlal Mills before its closure, and then returned to his place of birth, Ratlam, where he spent the remaining days of his life.
His last rites took place in Ratlam earlier in the day.
