A former legislator of MNS and four others, including a Corporator of the Raj Thackeray-led party from Kalyan town, were arrested for allegedly ransacking a bar here past midnight last night, police said today.
Prakash Bhoir, a former MLA of MNS, and Ulhas Bhoir, a Corporator of the party, were part of a group that went to the 'Shailja Bar' at about 12.30 am and ransacked it, Babasaheb Borde, Sub-Inspector of Kalyan Bazarpeth Police Station, said.
They also threatened the customers there, he said.

Based on a complaint by the bar owner, the police registered an offence and made the arrests. The motive behind the attack was not yet known, police added.
The accused were booked under IPC sections related to rioting, damaging property and criminal intimidation, among others.
