Exam paper solving gang busted, say UP police

Three persons, allegedly part of an exam paper solving gang, were arrested by the Special Task Force (STF) of the Uttar Pradesh police here.

On a tip off, the STF team nabbed three persons from Kanpur road in Krishna Nagar police station area.

"They were helping candidates appearing in the group "C' and group "D" examination conducted by the Allahabad High Court yesterday," a STF release said.

The gang was helping the candidates appearing in the exam through unfair means and electronic devices in solving the paper for money, it said, adding that mobile phones, bluetooth devices and bluetooth batteries were among the things recovered from their possession.
 

"Those arrested said that they had been involved in this work since the past three years and were getting upto Rs two to Rs three lakh for it per candidate, the release added.
