Mumbai University would conduct a separate examination for 132 students who could not reach KHMW College in the city due to the fire which broke out in suburban Jogeshwari/Oshiwara today.

The university issued a notification this evening assuring students of re-examination after some days.

Oshiwara Labour Memorial Trust runs KHMW College of Commerce in Oshiwara area where examination of FY BCom Maths paper was scheduled between 3-6 pm.

But students could not reach the centre as roads were blocked by fire tenders and other vehicles after fire broke out at a furniture market in the area.

New exam dates will be communicated through circular, stated the university.
