Cloud telephony company Exotel today said it plans to hire around 130-150 employees across technology and sales positions in the next 15 months.

Currently, the Bengaluru-based company has 70 employees.

With this hiring, the company's workforce will increase to more than 200 by the end of 2016.

"We see a huge growth potential across sectors, especially in e-commerce and logistics start-ups in India. Over the past few months, we have seen good adoption and demand, driving our growth and hiring plans," Exotel CEO Shivakumar Ganesan said in a statement.

The company was founded by Ganesan, Ishwar Sridharan and Siddharth Ramesh in 2011 to solve the pain points of managing calls and SMSes from customers without getting into the hassles of a full-fledged call centre.
