A 49-year old man, employed in a Gulf country and now on vacation, has allegedly raped his teenaged daughter in Guruvayur in the district.
Yusuf, who has two wives and six children, had returned home on September 28 on leave. He had taken the 14-year-old girl to a nearby under construction house forcibly and raped her on October 2, police said.
On a complaint from the victim and her mother, police after investigation arrested Yusuf under IPC section 376 (rape) last night.
He was produced before Wadakanchery Judicial First Class Magistrate Court which remanded him in 14 days of judicial custody today.
