The National Green Tribunal has directed the Delhi government to explore the feasibility of laying a dedicated pipeline to supply recycled water in South Delhi.
A bench headed by Justice Jawad Rahim ordered the Environment Secretary of the Delhi government to chair a meeting to be attended by Delhi Development Authority (DDA), Delhi Jal Board (DJB) and South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC).
"The authorities shall also apprise the tribunal as to who would bear the cost of laying the pipeline," the bench, also comprising expert member Ranjan Chatterjee, said.
