Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today asked officials to explore possibilities of constructing hot spring baths and improve amenities at tourist spots in Manikaran and Kasol.
Presiding over a meeting of the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) here, he also directed them to remove encroachment on land owned by state tourism department in Manikaran within a month.
Necessary measures and clearances should be taken to ensure the construction of a tourism hotel at Kasauli, Singh said.

He directed officials to complete the expansion of the tourism wayside hotel at Solan district's Kiari Bungalow.
It was also disclosed that the quarterly operational profit of the corporation was Rs 3.70 lakh on May 31, 2017.
The chief minister will inaugurate a water park at Sadhupul and the upgraded wayside amenities at Bhararighat and Sombhadra through video-conferencing tomorrow.
