Security forces today recovered huge quantity of explosives from Naxal-hit Kathikund police station limits of Dumka district.
Acting on a tip-off, the security forces recovered a truck-load of explosives from the Kathikund police station limits, said Superintendent of Police, Prabhat Kumar.
The Dumka district police along with para-military forces have launched a massive anti-Maoist operation in the extremist-affected areas of the district for the past some days, he said.
Kumar, however, refused to divulge details about the explosives as well as place of recovery as it might affect the ongoing operation.
