Explosives seized in Assam

A huge quantity of explosives, grenades and detonators, were seized from two persons in Assam's Baksa district today, a top police official said.

Altogether 26 pieces of high explosives, 36 grenades, 19 detonators and a bomb shell were recovered from the two at Kalajhar under Tamulpur police station, IGP (BTAD) L R Bishnoi told PTI.

The two, who were arrested, were planning to supply the explosives to militant outfit NDFB, Bishnoi said.
