The demand was made by a delegation of Federation of Industries Jammu (FOIJ) during a meeting with Industries Minister Chander Parkash Ganga here, a spokesman of the body said.

He said the eight-member delegation, led by FOIJ Chairman Lalit Mahajan, also demanded issue of requisite notification for the refund of 5 per cent of the sale value to those units which are not covered under the central package of incentives.

Other demands highlighted by the delegation included refund of 42 per cent share of CGST under the state package of incentives to the MSME sector, simplification of procedure for the refund of CGST and SGST to MSME sector, and transport subsidy up to destination for the dispatch of finished goods, among others, the spokesman said.

The minister gave a patient hearing to the issues raised by the delegation and assured that the matter shall be taken on priority basis with the state and central government to resolve the issues highlighted by the federation, the spokesman said.
