Modern information and communications technology (ICT) tools would be extensively used to promote the historic town of Kurukshetra as a tourist destination with the government looking to attract visitors at this religious place.
People all over the world would be able to watch evening 'Aarti' at the holy Brahmasarovar here on YouTube, local MLA, Subhash Sudha here today.
He said department of National Informatics Centre (NIC) has been assigned the duty to organise these facilities.

Sudha said he would meet the Haryana Governor, who is also chairman of Kurukshetra Development Board (KDB), and Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar tomorrow to ensure the development work by the board could be streamlined.
He said an annual budget of Rs 7 crore has been sanctioned by the government for the KDB.
