"Proper" action will be taken against NCP MP Udayanraje Bhosale, whose anticipatory bail plea was rejected by the Bombay High Court recently in an extortion case, at the "right time", a Maharashtra minister said today.
The Satara MP, a direct descendant of Chhatrapati Shivaji, was denied anticipatory bail by the high court upholding a lower court's order in the case.
The Satara Police had registered an FIR against Bhosale and his supporters on March 22 this year after the the owner of a manufacturing unit in Lonand Industrial Estate in the west Maharashtra district alleged they had demanded "protection money" from him.
