Four members of a gang were arrested
from different parts of the city and three pistols were seized from their possession, police said.
A case was registered against the gang following a complaint by a local doctor who alleged that the accused tried to extort Rs 20 lakh from him, IG Zone Meerut, Sujit Pandey said.
Three .315 pistols, two motorcycles, mobile phone and a knife were recovered from the accused, he said.
