"Straight Outta Compton" helmer F Gary Gray, The Guest's Adam Wingard and "Now You See Me" director Louis Leterrier are reportedly in the race to helm the next instalment of "Fast and Furious".
The trio are due to meet with Vin Diesel, who as one of the franchise's stewards has a say in who directs the movies, and Universal this week, said The Hollywood Reporter.
Gray has directed Diesel in 2003's action-thriller "A Man Apart".
