The Jammu and Kashmir government has installed a biometric face recognition system to mark attendance of government employees in the Civil Secretariat premises here.
"Biometric Face Recognition System-based attendance system has been installed in the Civil Secretariat premises and the enrolment of the employees of the Civil Secretariat under this system is in progress," Secretary, General Administration Department, M A Bukhari said here.
All the employees would mark their attendance electronically through the system installed at the entry points of Main and Mini Block of Civil Secretariat, he said.
