A Facebook friend of a woman and his accomplice were today arrested for allegedly raping her in Gurgaon, police said here.
Ravinder alias Sonu, a resident of village Palda and Sant Ram, a resident of village Nurpur in district Gurgaon were arrested for raping the woman, a spokesman of police department said.
The woman, a resident of Sector 51, Gurgaon, had lodged a complaint with police station Badshahpur in district Gurgaon today mentioning that she became friend with a man on Facebook some time back, he said.
"Yesterday, the man, who had befriended the woman, invited her to Badshahpur to meet her. When she reached their, she found another person in addition to her Facebook friend Sonu. Later, they both took the woman to a vacant house at village Palda where they raped her," the spokesman said.
Police arrested both of them from Badshahpur, said the spokesperson.
