The Maharashtra government will extend all help in setting up a residential complex of the Border Security Force (BSF) in the district, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said today.
Fadnavis today laid the foundation stone for the proposed BSF residential complex at Mandva near industrial estate Butibori, 35 kms from here.
He said the Public Works Department (PWD) will soon commence the construction work of the residential complex on a sprawling 88 acres of land near here.

"It will have residential blocks for officers and men, education and health care facilities for about 1200 personnel. BSF officers and men staying elsewhere will be provided with accommodation in the complex," the Chief Minister said.
BSF Additional Director General Rajnikant Mishra, Inspector General P S R Anjeyelu and Commander Vijay Kariar along with Ramtek MP Kripal Tumane, MLA Sameer Meghe were present on the occasion.

Fadnavis also said that the Kunbi community had
contributed a lot to the agriculture.
When time came, the Kunbis who toiled in the fields also fought against injustice, he said.
The Chief Minister also announced that a separate ministry would be created for the welfare of OBCs in the state.
