Fake currency: Man gets 10-yr jail

A local court has handed a 10-year jail term to a doctor, who was caught with fake Indian currency notes (FICN) in 2009.

Additional Sessions Judge Ramesh Tiwari also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on Latif.

On December 14, 2009, police had caught Latif with FICN and equipment used for printing counterfeit currency.
