The West Bengal CID today seized Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) with a face value of Rs 4 lakh during a raid in Malda's Kaliachak, a senior official said.

Acting on a tip-off, the CID today conducted a raid at Sujapur bus stand in Kaliachak police station limits and arrested two persons Mohibur Rahaman (19) and Amir Hossain (20) after the FICN of Rs 2000 denomination were recovered from the duo, he said.

"Rahaman is a resident of Chharkatola while Hossain of Bastola in the same Kaliachak area. Both seemed to be newly involved in the racket. We are probing into the matter," the officer said.
