Cyberabad Police today busted a fake driving licence racket with the arrest of three persons here.

The Special Operations Team (SOT) of Cyberabad Police arrested Shaik Abdul Aziz, B Srinivas and N Krishna and seized 23 fake driving licences, a printer-cum-scanner, a computer system, among things, they said.

Shaik Abdul Aziz, who earlier worked as an agent at RTA office in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, and presently running a driving school, colluded with Srinivas and Krishna and started making fake driving licenses for those who were not having any proper documents, police said.

The gang had been operating from Guntur town since the last six months and their agents allegedly indulged in circulating fake driving licenses in Hyderabad and other districts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, they said.

Aziz used to collect photos and Rs 1,500 from those seeking licences and then he, along with Krishna, used to prepare fake licenses by showing the candidates as residents of Guntur, a release from Cyberabad police said.
