Fake education certificates racket busted; 3 held

With the arrest of three persons, the Hyderabad Police today claimed to have busted a fake education certificates racket.

The accused were allegedly preparing fake and forged educational certificates of Engineering, Degree, PG, MBA of various Universities of Uttar Pradesh and other states and supplying them to their customers.

Sleuths of Commissioner's Task Force, East Zone team arrested Manish Kumar, Anil Kumar and Ch Satyaprakash at Kishangunj here yesterday.

They also seized 15 fake education certificates of different courses of various universities like Sridhar University, Chatrapati Sahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur, Chowdary Charan Singh University, Meerut, Bundelkand University and Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, police said.
 

36-academic transcript certificates, consolidated marks memo, letter of recommendations of various universities, one laptop, 2 fake rubber stamps of Registrar CCS University, one printer was also recovered from the trio, according to a release by Hyderabad police.

Manish is running a business in the name of Ratna Study Solutions at Kishangunj and he along with his associate Sahil, a native of Kanpur, were preparing fake educational certificates and supplying them to clients after collecting huge amounts from them.

They did it with the help of Shilpa, Harish and Anil Kumar, it added.

Anil Kumar is an agent of the fake and forged certificates, who gets students, while Satyaprakash, who did not complete his B Tech and paid amount to them and obtained fake BTech certificate, police said.

Efforts are on to arrest other accused, who are absconding, the release added.
