Fake currency notes
with a face value of Rs 4.73 lakh were seized from a man at Chandili area of Rayagada district today, police said.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided the venue of a festival which had been on since the Maha Shivaratri at Antamada village and arrested the accused identified as Musaka Jaisingh.
The fake notes were recovered from his possession and he is being questioned, the police said.
