Fake notes seized, one held

fake currency notes has been arrested at Medna village under Sadar police station of Garwah district, the police said today.

Fazul Rahman, a resident of Malda district in adjoining West Bengal, was carrying fake notes with a face value of Rs 45,500 yesterday, DSP Ram Samad said.

The fake notes were all in the denomination of Rs 500, he said.

The fake currency gang with which Rahman was associated probably has link with Chennai, Samad said.
