Fake Vigilance Inspector arrested while trying to fleece TT

The Railway police today arrested a fake Vigilance Inspector trying to extort a Ticket Collector on board a train.

Deputy Inspector General of Police, Rail, Arun Kumar Dubey said that the impersonator was caught on the complaint of Chief Ticket Collector on Delhi-Bhagalpur Vikramshila Express.

The impersonator, identified as Amresh Mishra, who boarded the train from Mughalsarai, was trying to extort a TT on the train. When asked to show his Identity card as Vigilance Inspector he refused.

When the train reached Kiul junction, on the complaint of Chief TT, the Government Rail police registered a case and arrested the impersonator, the DIG said.
