Family from NE thrashed by neighbour in Munirka dispute

Three members of a family hailing from the northeast were allegedly thrashed by their neighbour in the Munirka area here with police saying they have booked both the parties who were involved in the hostilities.

According to police, the complainant, one Rimkhom Cheru, has alleged that he was thrashed along with his wife and brother by one Aftab and two of his associates.

Police said that the incident took place in the Munirka area where those involved in the dispute are neighbours.

Cross FIRs have been filed over the incident at Vasant Vihar police station. While Cheru has complained about the thrashing by Aftab, the latter has alleged that Cheru had beaten up his nine-year-old boy.
 

Police have booked people from both sides under relevant sections of IPC.
