The film on popular cartoon series 'Family Guy' has been put on hold for now.

During the ongoing Comic-Con, show's director and producer Peter Shin said that though they had started the project, it has been delayed as creator Seth MacFarlane was busy with 'Ted 2', reported Deadline.

"We started some work on one a while ago, but it's been put on hold. It might move forward in the future," the makers said.

Liam Neeson, Allison Janney, Julie Bowen, Lea Thompson and Jeff Garlin are expected to star in the film.
