Family members donate body to PGIMER

The family members of a 72-year-old man donated his body to the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) here following his death, officials said Monday.

Gurdyal Singh, a resident of village Tusang in Karnal district of Haryana, died on September 22 at the institute, the PGIMER officials said.

The Department of Anatomy, PGIMER, is grateful to his family members and admires them for their noble gesture, the officials said.
