Three members of a family, including a three-year-old girl, were shot dead allegedly by four persons at their residence in Ekmara village here, police said today.
Parashuram (55), Vimla Devi (42) and their three-year-old daughter Himanshi were shot dead by four people who barged into their house under Usrahar police station area last night, police said.
Parashuram was reported to have an affair with one Ram Kishan's wife, Vimla, after the death of his first wife. They started living together and also had a daughter, police said.
A case has been registered and efforts on to nab the culprits, police added.
